Gold is not a heavy metal. The definition of a heavy metal is not that it has a high specific mass, it's that it's toxic in low concentrations. Gold is not. /pedantic

Copper and nickel are essential to life, silver is mostly harmless, so no, not heavy metals either in the toxicity sense.
