On Android what you need to do is to reset to factory settings because that will most likely format your drive and get rid of what's left from installing/uninstalling stuff. Deleting shit normally just means your file explorer will not show it anymore but won't really make space on your drive. Android is in many respects like a shitty old windows, like pre-XP

That's not really correct, and factory resetting your entire phone is completely unnecessary. You can use a number of cleaners to remove unnecessary remaining files, which usually are not what you would see as a file in an explorer but leftover app or cache data which can be cleared either via the aforementioned cleaner app or manually in the app's info in settings. Not to mention that the vast majority of Android phones come with expandable storage, so pictures, videos, or even apps can be moved over to relieve any internal storage limitations.
