You have:
- a house
- a car
- electrcity/gas
- food
- and you've taken out a loan
If you've got all these things, there's a good chance you're not in poverty
Are you saying the only people who are impoverished don’t have shelter? Most do in fact often they either rent a shared apartment or live with family and have to help pay the bills
When someone can’t always afford basic necessities. Food insecurity, clothes insecurity, power insecurity, water insecurity, etc. When they have to choose do I pay for gas to get to work or a meal? I think loads of people are in poverty but able to maintain a living situation because that’s seen as the most base need. And I don’t mean that a really irresponsible person who makes lots of money but can never seem to put it together for a sandwich is in poverty
