Got to see a wedge tailed eagle once, that bastard was magnificent. It flew with the grace of a thousand swans while looking like it would eat your child if left unattended

saw one on the road eating roadkill victim, looked huge in height, unfortunately due to their size, when they eat off road kill, they don't have the burst of power to take off quickly so get hit a lot. I didn't though.

Glad you didn't! yeah we were actually told that this happens a lot and they said that if you see roadkill you should slow down and honk your horn just to give them a chance to take off.

This sounds like we're trying to resurrect roadkill with a horn hahaha I meant the eagle XD

lol, i was approaching on long straight, so it had time to take off, at first i thought it was a hitch hiker.

okay seeing a hitchhiker flap his majestic wings and take off is funnier than roadkill escaping

This actually incorrect. The Wedge-tailed Eagle is bigger than the Imperial Eagle in both weight and wingspan.

I thought I did but clearly I wasn't paying attention when I did. My bad. Thanks.
