If I had to guess, I’d say @famousone’s whole argument is that if you think it is a good idea, try to get it to happen in your state, don’t just go to the federal level. There’s no reason for you to tell people three states away that they should have certain things/laws.

My argument exactly. Colorado isn't Illinois, isn't Idaho, isn't New York, isn't Alaska, isn't California, and so on.
