I still can’t grasp the concept of underage drinking? Like I get some people do it for parties but why? Is it really necessary to have an ok time for these people it’s like a 50/50 chance they get wasted enough to ruin the night for everyone or just black out. I just don’t see what alcohol adds to the equation or your existence that makes it all okay
When everyone's got a buzz going it is way easier to have a good time. Everything is hilarious, all the stories are awesome, nobody is trying too hard to refrain from being friendly, and on top of all that, the good chemicals are coming out in force. The trick is to drink someplace kinda private, amongst people you trust who know their limits.
Even things that would otherwise ruin the night can become awesome stories.
My roommate got black out drunk and vomited in the lobby causing campus police to be called. She got a 500$ fine and almost academic probation. My other roommate was nearly attacked by a black out drunk guy on their first date. I’m not the type to try it but their experiences speak a lot to me
Those don’t sound like fun experiences.
If you’re responsible, it’s not big deal either way. Have a drink or two and enjoy it. Or do t have any and enjoy it. Getting brain damage drunk is not good or fun. But there’s a balance. You can drink a little without drinking too much.
