Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison and Kurt Cobain all died at 27. Your argument is invalid. The ones you listed are the ones who were lucky enough to have survived heavy drug use when they were young, and mellowed out of it as they aged.

It's particularly galling to include Robert Plant and Roger Daltrey on the list, since both had band members who died young due to drug/alcohol OD's: John Bonham and Keith Moon, respectively.

Valid point. But, he still died at 27, and is a rock musician, so it still shows how bullshit the post was.

Well it is 1. Just a joke. So 2. Yes it is bullshit. But if we are being specific Kurt didn't count no matter the age because the focus is death from drugs.
