He reminds me of a guy who sold computer pieces and told me to go home and try what I wanted to buy, and come back to pay for it if it worked. or exchange it if it didn't instead of having to make the translation as many times as I'd have to try a new piece.
I felt like a thief and that was very stressful, but bless these shopkeeper's little hearts. Most people (at least where I bought my piece of equipment) are actually decent and their trust is baffling but refreshing.
