That’s nice and all, but Thor has no easy weakness like kryptonian rocks. And Superman was all mr nice guy and didn’t go full force against Bruce. If he had we’d have a charred bat on our hands and movie less than 10 min. Thor doesn’t give a damn and just kicks ass (see him versus Tony in the first avengers),
So there’s no way the bat lives if it is actually down to strength/power and not fanbois/writers
As we’ve covered before- comics are vast, many versions, universes blah blah- and ultimately there’s no way to know because every comic comes down to what a writer decides. Squirrel Girl beat Thanos before. She beat Dr. Doom too. Is she stronger than all the Avengers or stronger than Captain Marvel or Thor? Personally I say yes but I like Squirrel Girl and am basing that entirely off bias with no interest in the the truth. BUT- that’s comics. The winner is fan favorite, or whoevers book it is- or whoever needs to win to set up the story arc that is coming.
So I might side toward Batman- because asides the fact Thor wasn’t really a super popular hero in the mainstream until the avengers movies but Batman has been a fan favorite for decades- and a central part of Batman’s character is being able to find a way to win or “turn” stacked situations- so his losing to Thor only makes sense in a context where it sets up something (like his losing to Bane sets up his Venom use and recovery etc,) but we forget that Batman ISNT just a rich guy. Across his many stories he has access to advanced alien technologies and mythical artifacts. He creates impossible technologies as needed- and figuring out how to deal with strong electrical current and super strength isn’t exactly out of bounds for a super villain fighting scientist.
Irl- like Superman- if Thor attacked Batman with no time for Batman to prepare- especially inna surprise attack- he could kill the very mortal Batman in one hit without Batman even knowing. But- in “real life” would Thor fight like that? Why would he fight Batman- let alone assassinate him out of nowhere? This is where and why we have comics. The set up. We need a REASON for them to fight- which would be unlikely but possible in real life- a way to justify that fight to their character- and ultimately if it wasn’t a sneak attack assassination- Batman is good at surviving. If he escapes- he now knows he has to fight Thor and can prepare. So I wouldn’t count Batman out even if Vegas odds favor the god of thunder.
So there’s no way the bat lives if it is actually down to strength/power and not fanbois/writers
