Totally agree. If you’re still rooting for him around season 4, and especially into season 5, you really need to have a good hard look at yourself. How can you sympathize, much less empathize, with a man who 1) degrades literally every single person in his life, 2) has killed dozens of people, most of whom were innocent, 3) forces an addicted 20-something to cook meth with him by threatening to turn him into the DEA, 4) allows said 20-something to be captured by Neo-Nazis and held in a literal HOLE underground for six months and enduring unbelievable torture, 5) decides with basically no hesitation to poison the 5 year old son of 20-something’s girlfriend, 6) allows his girlfriend to choke to death on her own vomit instead of simply turning her on her side, and then trying to talk about how everyone did Walter White wrong and he was actually just a misunderstood hero? I love this show so much but if you think Walter White is the hero, then we are obviously watching two different shows.
