Partial truth. The exact number varies as the nutritional content of a banana varies as does each persons health and physiology. A person with bad kidneys for example can die from far fewer bananas. How and if you prepare/cook the bananas effects potassium levels- and you can up your water intake, use dialectics, and take other steps to increase the rate you eliminate potassium and thus avoid poisoning. Not to mention that of the ways 400 bananas can possibly kill you, eating them and then dying from potassium is about the least likely way they end you.
