At the time he was more like Steve Job-less. He was sacked as CEO of Apple in 1985 so he decided to start a new computer company- selling high end machines to businesses and universities- the only problem was his computers couldn’t render for sh$t, a big problem as that was the biggest market for high end hardware with those clients. So he bought the computer arts department of Lucas film to use their technology in his machines. Well.... turns out the purchase cane with some creative geniuses. Pixar was born. They didn’t release their own full length film until 1995- and Next was bought out by Apple in 97 returning Jobs as CEO.
