Yeah I was going to say that. This thing will be Mid Tier worth probably around $500 and mine costed about $1500 and its a high end.
It may not look fancy but the new xbox will get the job done.
Performance to price seems really off balance in a sense where you will get more performance than what you pay for.
This may also be true for the PS5 but I don't think they will allow Steam/Epic so the new xbox really is shining super bright right now and I hope it stays that way
Congratulations, you've discovered the concept of a gaming console.
They have always been a pc with extra steps, but the key thing is, the extra steps have already been done for the user.
They already know what games their console can handle, social gaming networks are already set up and integrated, there's little-to-no need to constantly check what drivers and software need updating, and it handles split screen gaming really well.
It’s... a gaming PC with LESS steps. You buy it, plug in a monitor and power. You turn it on. It asks if you want to update. You press a controller button. It updates. You go see a game you like. You press a couple buttons. It does things. Now you are playing your game. You never need to look at specs or system requirements or OS compatibility. You don’t need to go find drivers or make sure your peripherals works if you just buy the one that says “for this console..” if a game is in the marketplace you can play it. No specifying a directory or choosing what to upload or needing to upgrade this active X direct X macromedia whatever blah blah. See game- play game. That’s the whole point of a console. See game- play game.
