The good news is- you can read, write, and listen to music from your phone- 2/3 at once easily and 3/3 at once a little more difficult. That’s part of what bothers me when people complain about folks being “stuck on their phones..” Susan... I just changed my address with the DMV, traded stocks, bought a new set of resistance bands for my office work out, ordered dinner, read a chapter of war and peace- googled all the concepts or words I didn’t know- while listening to a new and promising musician who’s trying to change the world, AND donated money to a charity. While you were “just enjoying the clouds.” Great. I’ll take a moment to enjoy those too at some point today- but in between smelling each rose forgive me if I listen to a TED talk on podcast and study for a new certification or degree too.
I got shit to do Susan. Doing it analog is on sundial and I need it done on stopwatch time- so I’m gonna use this amazing tool that has the knowledge of combined world civilization, a portal to most known art or commerce, a connection to human beings thousands of miles away- even to humans not on this fuxking planet- I’m gonna use it to get the most out of every moment I can. And also look at memes of penguins telling awkward stories. I’m human.
