Why do they make these things so damn complicated?

I find it so wild that remotes have netflix buttons nowadays :O

Those buttons rub me the wrong way. I don’t want a button to open X app. I want an easier way to navigate the TV’s menu. Like a scroll wheel or joystick. (At the least more responsive buttons so I can spam the buttons. Those buttons are so fucking gummy. I tap them and they don’t respond then I tap like hell and it suddenly works)
