Thank you @xvarnah. Jenna and purplepumkin did well. I’ll add a little blurb below. Little might be “little,” we shall see.

I think traditional might be better for "slow" stuff. My Trieztze (hope I'm getting this right) syndrom only goes better with massages and weird movements. My granddad cancer would have killed him a lot faster if it wasn't for chemo. One shouldn't be there to rule the others out.

Our medicine and TCM are two very different things. Our normal medicine is very good at treating stuff like Corona. Very serious or potentially life threatening stuff where you need certain meds to cure them or where only an operation can help. But when it comes to the little stuff. Feeling more exhausted than usual, having some mild pain because youre getting older or even chronic stuff our medicine is clueless. This is the stuff TCM is good at. Acupuncture or some tea can definitely make you feel better/feel more energetic/have less pain. And if you went to your local doctor he probably would have just sent you home.

Dr Jason.... (or whoever made this and used this name..) you make me sad. The Chinese government promotes TCM at home and abroad. They more than doubled the number of TCM clinics in one single year and over 6 years licensed 450,000 practitioners. The Chinese government is and HAS been advocating and using TCM in the coronavirus. BUT..... as a Doctor I’d hope you’d not only be more informed before speaking... but that you’d know medicine isn’t a panacea. “If radiology is so effective... If antibiotics are so effective.... if Dentistry is so effective... why aren’t they using it to fight Corona virus...?” All the oncologists and pediatrists who aren’t curing Corona virus must be useless no?

It’s a flu dingus. Where is YOUR cure for the flu? Have we partially effective vaccines that work against specific strains... of you get the flu.... what medical marvel do you dispense? Rest? Fluids? Things to treat symptoms and reduce discomfort... so... basically... the primary modern medical treatment for the flu are the basic home remedies most prudent folks have been using for centuries- just in formulations and delivery methods designed to optimize efficiency while doing the same thing...?

TCM... does all of it work? Probably not. Is everyone pushing TCM educated and skilled to properly administer it? No. Are skilled practitioners able to often provide aid or at least comfort and relief for many common conditions? Yes. But.... why would you... with any common sense... think that a TRADITIONAL system of medicine based largely on observation, trail and error over thousands of years... have a handy cure stored away for a strain of virus not recorded in history? The best minds on modern medicine- governments, huge profits for corporations- all are working for a cure for the Corona virus- where is the cure? It’s not instant man. If you think that just because TCM can’t beat the profit giants and governments and medical geniuses of the world it has no merit- what do your expectations for other things look like man?

In the end- maybe TCM isn’t the best place to look to cure all diseases and treat every wound and illness. Maybe for some it’s the place to try to find a cure before going to the doctor, for others it’s a last resort after the doctor has failed, and for many it is just an option. Can I prove a chiropractor does anything? No. Do I put myself and my faith in them? No. Do I know plenty of people who wanted to feel better or get rid of a problem- went to a chiropractor, and swear they feel better after? I do. Great for them. If it works for you, it works for you. But Dr. isn’t GOD spelled sideways- you can’t fix everything either can you?
