That's what you get for thinking outside the box

Probably like any job where you create stuff, theres plenty of cool shit to do, but the majority of things a company will hire you to do (and that customers are willing to pay for) are gonna be boring.

I think it also depends on how you advertise yourself or what you specialise in, my uncle is a welder and makes very fancy gates and things. Because he's well known for this he gets a lot of business. Yes he has been welding for years and I'm sure he started off with boxes but he made his skill into something more rewarding later on.

Welding can be just as boring as any other job. I love what I do so I'm not nearly as inclined to be bored with it. My personal experience has been in high purity stainless welding. The company I'm with makes pharmaceutical equipment.

Welding is a very vast industry as welding can be expanded to mean many different things.
Traditionally welding involves metals but various plastics are welded together, which as plastic technologies keep expanding, can become a very lucrative option on the near future.

I do make art on occasion but I'm very self-critical about anything I do so that's why i rarely post what I do make. I'm coming out of that but years of indoctrinating myself to the adverse is proving hard to do. I hope to one day flood my feeds with art that im content with!

I reckon everyone here would love to see some of your art, when you feel ready.I hope to teach myself the basics of welding one day, it looks really useful, especially if I want to build my own house in the future.
