Now with a pandemic, it turns out that it's completely different of a scenario in which it isn't and apparently people still won't buy them and I've now eaten something called "smart sausages"

my thing is if it tastes better than over steamed veggies it's good enough to eat in my book and those new and improved soy meats taste better than oversteamed veggies to me.
