He was an asshole that created a circus (it was told as a movie with Hugh jackman recently) and in his circus he abused the employees (or “freaks” as he called them) and he mistreated the animals. Generally the scum of the earth kinda guy too, but the movie makes him look like a regular old boy and that boils my biscuits
