I worked 2 yrs in a row at fair that would come to my hometown once a year. And I can tell you that this post is no where NEAR as bad as I have seen it. I saw one large slide that should of been shut down years before The year I first worked there. I mentioned that 2 joints that lock in place was damn near rust through and look weak. It shook rust every time someone stepped onto the ride. The following year the ride was back with a new paint job with the rusted parts painted silver. But the paint was flaking and you could see rust underneath. That year the ladder from the ride came crashing down while they were taking it down. It hit a guy straight on top of his head. His head was bleeding pools of blood. They took him to the ER and left him there and moved on to the next town without him. That was also the year my 2 yrs younger brother went with them and than need a bus ticket to get back from 2 states away. They were starving him.
been on a pirate ship, you know, the big swinging one, the safety railing snapped and opened at it's highest peak, i fell out holding onto it, and kicked the people in the head that were in front. it surprisingly came to a halt very quickly.
I remember riding a rollercoaster in a carnival, they used nails instead of screws and the ride is shaky as hell.
10 outta 10 thrilling
10 outta 10 not gonna ride one again
We have fairs and festivals. But whether they are safe is another thing
