Inspite being 1.3 billion in population, we only have 20000 cases.. that too after a million tests..
We have a very strict lockdown impacting a lot of people, the only ones getting paid right now are the IT professionals who are working from home..
Once the lockdown is lifted and the situation comes to normalcy, maybe we will benefit from the mistakes of the Chinese...
Relax bub, million tests haven't been done yet. And the surge is coming. Once the lockdown will be lifted, people are gonna be stupid again. The economy is also taking a hit, but they are gonna open up small level production.
The point being, we can go back and forth and that will not have any effect on what is gonna happen with India. All we can do is wait, watch and hope. It's a sick show and we are the actors and the audience.
Also, the only way India has any kind of sway that tops other superpowers is if we create the vaccine.
We don't have entitled ones like in the west who are on the streets to fight to get a haircut or whatever.. so the situation is far more better than any other country..
But yeah.. hopefully once the lock down is lifted, things don't go haywire as expected..
Well the thing about Americans is that, they love their rights. Sometimes it benefits them, sometimes it doesn't.
But stupids are everywhere, from people protesting in America to the Tablighi Samaaj in India.
I honestly can't believe how many times I've quoted this line from MIB after the pandemic had started. "A person is smart, but people are stupid".

The problem is, India's government is not effective enough (which is the fault of the government, but very much also the general populus and just the circumstances of life) to properly capitalize. If this happened, I'd assume that money would flow up to the very rich, and there wouldn't be enough effective worker protections to develop the country for the average person. If India becomes bigger and better and all, I'd be happy, but unfortunately it seems unlikely.

Not to mention how overpopulated they are. The virus will spread like wildfire there.

Not really, luckily. One thing India has historically been very good at is quarantining people, and it's currently ranking underneath countries like Switzerland and Belgium, which are a LOT smaller, so I see that as a huge win. Maharashtra is the most impacted, of course, but it also hasn't spread much into the other states, which is a very good sign. So it seems like it's being controlled! :D
That's the concern. However the goal is to handle it like China.
Whether they have covered up their numbers or they have actually handled it well, it doesn't matter. Officially and on paper they have done a good job of preventing it from being a shitstorm for their own country. Although they fucked rest of the world, deliberately or not.
I see a lot of UN Meetings after this thing is over.
I don't think that Vetos are gonna stop people this time. America is pissed and so are a lot of fundamental UN Nations. The veto wouldn't account for shit this time. Hopefully.
It's never been the UN that people worried about, it's always been the US and Russia.
At least now we're seeing the folly of globalist systems, the UN, and of trusting the ChiComs.
As we speak they continue to insist that Covid was planted by American Soldiers, ignoring that the Wuhan lab regularly sold infected meat to wet markets because communism doesn't pay, and threatening the Pacific by pushing it's claim on half the ocean.
