oh come onn... what happens in a country is obviously a national issue...and the head of the state is responsible...
but sovereignty being upheld is not xenophobic...
He is fixated on borders. But he could have ordered to stop flights sooner and didn't. At first he tried,just from China, but virus was already spreading all over the world. So he wants borders but didnt buse them. Many countries stop their travel immediately, only having some "humanitarian" flights. (Anyways it was too late for most of them). Also by the time he tweeted that US had a higher rate of cases than Mexico. They probab3wanted a ban at that point, but their president is even more irresponsible.
So if we were just a little bit more responsible with our borders, problems from other nations that can't control them would be easier dealt with. Not that it mattered, when China's ruling government delayed releasing crucial info about the incoming pandemic for almost a week that would've prepared for what was coming.
