My Dad used to say if he was on the S.S. Enterprise and he was some random worker in the background and one day Captain Kirk came up to him and said congratulations you have just been promoted. Than the minute Captain Kirk whips out that red shirt my Dad will poke Captain Kirk straight in the eye and say “Congratulations to me I just been DEmoted!”
