Tusoteuthis longa, meaning "Crushed Squid", was an extinct genus of giant enchoteuthdid cephalopod that lived in the Western Interior Seaway during the late Cretaceous around 70 million years ago. Being mostly soft-bodied, the only parts of Tusoteuthis that usually fossilized were its beak and its gladius (essentially the last vestiges of a mollusk shell that some cephalopods have, like a cuttlebone in cuttlefish) though those parts have a rough estimate on the size of the giant squid, being up to 35 feet long. It would've preyed upon other cephalopods like ammonites, fish, sea birds like Ichthyornis, and perhaps even juvenile marine reptiles like mosasaurs and plesiosaurs. Like many animals of the time, Tusoteuthis died out during the KT Extinction Event at the end of the Cretaceous.
