A lie that everyone believes..... is.... their truth. Outside of an omnipotent being- there is no singular truth that all know. The very nature of perspective means that a person can make a statement which to them is true as any law of physics- but is ultimately not the entire truth or even the reality of things. An intentional lie is by nature not true- except one can lie and that lie can be true- or in many cases with humans, where perception is the only factor of existence in a concept- a lie believed by all becomes true.
Eg: if a powerless man tells everyone he is powerful, and everyone believes him, treats him powerful- he becomes powerful. But- the fact that one person could create power from nothing but words IS powerful on itself isn’t it? So that man who has the capability to do that really WAS powerful weren’t they? So even before others believed it, it was true because THEY believed it- and the proof it was true is in the fact that site enough- they were able to convince everyone it was true right? So it is perhaps more complex.
