Mentioned before, but for anyone wondering - "In blue" is terminology used to describe a state of a snake's eyes when the snake is getting close to shedding it's skin.
.
As with the rest of their bodies, snakes have scales covering their eyes as well. When a snake is preparing to shed the eye scales (known as eye-caps) start to separate from the eye, and a thin layer of fluid may start to collect behind the scale, causing a clouded, milky appearance.
.
Snakes are often quite dangerous during this phase, but the "aggression" is entirely defensive. Their skin is tight and uncomfortable and it is hard for them to see, putting them on edge. Most snakes will avoid eating at all during this phase, preferring to spend the entire time hunkered down in a dark, safe place where they won't be disturbed.
Do you keep her skins? You can make pendants from it, super quick, easy and incredibly beautiful, I've made 30 of those for christmas. If you're interested, check out Snake Discovery's video on how to make pendants from shed skin :)
Haha I saw that episode too! They do some good videos.
.
I have SOME of her skin, but generally when she sheds it's all balled up and/or she poops on it. Which is a practical thing, but doesn't make for good necklaces I wouldn't think
