For me, it is just a way to filter out bad content. I do not want to see that. That's not what this website is for (at least it didn't used to be). If people would just make everything inappropriate NSFW, I can scroll past without clicking on it. But anyway, I think there are probably some people who look at Funsubstance at work, or school, on the bus, etc. and don't want this content popping up either.

I've been here for at least 8-9 years. Not saying it used to be 100% appropriate, but it has definitely gotten worse in the past several years.
