The Soviets trained dogs to blow up tanks. They only blew up Soviet tanks

Somewhat true. The dogs got confused early in the war because Soviet tanks used diesel fuel while German tanks were usually petrol. The dogs got used to diesel smell. But there is at least a somewhat happy ending. The Soviets resorted to “suicide dogs” because of a lack of anti tank weapons. By the end of the war- the Soviets weren’t so strapped for weapons- and they didn’t need to use suicide dogs anymore. They trained the gods to detect mines and retired the program, and many f these dogs survived the war.
