Nostalgia hurts so good

God I miss going to Blockbuster every Friday on the way home from school

There was really nothing else like going down the isles and looking for something to watch or something to play.

Even when I knew I would end up picking the same movie again and again it was still the best going down each isle, picking up random stuff, avoiding the "adult" section where my brother was then walking down to the deli just down the street to buy some popcorn. Blockbuster always smelt the same, was always warm and always had the same choice in carpet. Like a portal to a timeless world, I miss it.

We didn’t know what we had and what we were doing! Oh god!! My parents use to buy us all a pack of sour gummy worms and then we picked movies. My brothers and I also got one video game!
