The most common thing I get told by customers is
"I'll come to you so they don't put you out of a job"
1. What the hell am I supposed to respond to that
2. There are other things I could be doing. Like putting away returned stock, or folding clothes people keep trying to fold but failing. Or throwing away the empty boxes of stolen makeup in the beauty section. OR CLEANING UP THE SHOES YOU LEAVE CARELESSLY AROUND THE PLACE
'You looked bored so I figured Id give you something to do.'
Well shit, I didn't know you cared so much about my interests that you'd come here and buy something just to entertain me?
There's a donation screen on the payment terminals where I work that asks if the customer would like to donate. It's easily 1 of 3 customers who say "They should donate to me" or " I need a donation". The worst part is repeat customers who say it every time.
