Inquisition's romances are interesting because each is so different. Some are more traditional/romantic, some are funny, some are more casual. Being a softie who melts whenever I see something cute, my favorite was the Cullen one.
Haha well I played a Qunari on my playthrough because I thought the race and it's dynamics were interesting. They kind of stomped all over it a lot of the time, though, so that ended up being less entertaining than I'd thought.
.
But naturally I went with Iron Bull. Idk what I was expecting given Sten literally warns Morrigan she'll need an iron pry bar in Origins, but that romance was a bit more bdsm-y than I'd anticipated haha.
.
I've heard the best romance is supposedly Solas' just for story proposes. But I never did finish the game so what do I know.
.
Haha Cullen is probably the most alistair-esque of the lot from what I've seen, and Alistair is always a favourite. Though I'm a sucker for David Gaider's characters and romances in general
Yeah, Bull's romance was interesting. I didn't like Solas's much but how it ties into the story at the end was neat. It's just like everything with Solas, he's very unassuming and then he surprises you. But I won't spoil that lol
And hey my very first Origins playthrough was a female mage so I was always curious if they ever do anything about Cullen and his lil crush on mage Warden. I'm really glad they made him a romance option later on. And yeah, you can never go wrong with an Alistair-type character.
Can't go wrong with a dwarf romancing Bull. Makes all the funtime moments even more hysterical than they already are.
But thanks to the tie in in Inquisition, romancing Alistair in DAO then having your warden kill the archdemon sans ritual gives the best romance arc in my opinion.
Cullen and Josie are both just so cute though.
I didn't even notice that Cullen was the same adorable templar that was hitting on my warden so long before until I went back and played DAO after a few runs of Inquisition, and it made so much of his dialogue make so much more sense after that. Guy's been through a lot and is still one of the most adorable romances, gotta give him props for that.
