There's eating and eating. Discovering new food? Celebrating traditional food? Learning to cook fancy, original, molecular or exotic food?

everything can be simplified down to something like that. Like playing video games? well you are just training your reaction time like everyone else doing anything. Like playing puzzles? well you are just training your critical thinking skills like fucking children for god sake. Like browsing funsub or 4kachow? oh so your hobby is getting the nessesary socialization that a human requires? just like the nessessary eating and breathing and walking and blinking?

Well, when it’s definitely not a very complicated hobby, hiking has quite a bit to it. You have to be aware of how far you will go, how long that will take, if you need to bring any food, a tent maybe? Water? How dangerous will the trail be? Will you need a friend to tag along? Is there any wild dangerous animals you need to look out for?
And even when you’re walking your package might be heavy, the ground might be uneven so you have to be careful of injuring yourself and you have to keep track of where you are so you don’t get lost.
