Since my daughter was born she had a problem with her stomach. She doesn’t have the proper lining that protects against harsh food like most people do. All her food must be blander than mash potatoes. If not it is projectile vomit. Even if she eats right stays safe she still some day just get tummy aches and that is cue for the bucket.
So Me and hubby spent many nights just like these 2.
No there isn’t a cure. All we can do is help her life with the symptoms.
Her night stand is filled with her meds.
There is
pepto-Bismol
Milk of magnesia
Pedialyte
Metoclopramide
And when she is so bad we have to take her to the doctor they give her a shot of palonosetron which is really powerful. It is used on cancer patients to help them with nausea. She only needed it 4 times.
Some days when she has an attack it is easy she gets an upset tummy than throws up only once or twice.
The bad ones she can’t stop vomiting and there was no warning no upset tummy than vomit. It is I feel fine than projectile vomit like she is the exorcist. She will go till the is nothing left than the blood and strain. One time it was so bad the doctor said she could rupture her intestines. That was the first time she got the shot of palonosetron.
And that attack happen thanks to a FUCKINNG LITTLE SHIT AT HER SCHOOL TOLD HER TAKKIS WHERE NOT HOT!!!
The kids didn’t believe she couldn’t have them. Luckily she only took a small bite. God only knows what have happen if she ate a handful or something. Luckily from when she was old enough to understand her problem we taught her how to tell if something wasn’t safe.
And yeah I chewed the Princapal out for allowing that to have happen. When they knew very very her medical issues seeing as we had to have a doctor signed stack of papers on her condition and what to do.
I said to them if she had an allergy to peanuts that school be scrubbed clean of all peanut related items yet my kid can’t handle spiced food and 90% of your lunch menu is TACOS!!!
Yeah they kept a hawk like eye on her after that. And the school nurse who only showed up half the day became a full day nurse.

That's a shame there's no cure - but at least there's treatment and she has all your guys' support. :) sometimes that's worth more than any cure in the world
She actually told me she can tell how much her friends love her because they started after that testing stuff for her.
Like they had Cheetos at a school class party some parent brought. But my daughter didn’t know if it was hot or not. She was to shy to ask so her friend tried it for her and said don’t eat it. It’s hot. Than the girl told the teacher how my kid couldn’t have any and that girl went to her own lunch box and gave my kid the girls own chips she was going to have for her lunch and the teacher let the girl take my kids share for lunch. That was in 4th grade my kid is now going to 7th grade and the little girl is still her BFF. They call each other everyday.

She may be sick but we treat her like any other kid. Because we want her to have as normal life as possible.
Honestly though our main problem is getting people to believe us she is sick. She looks and acts 100% healthy but truth is she is just one bad meal from being extremely sick.
