It's that time again

In fairness this could just be REALLY behind. But I am both loathing and eager to see the push of consumerism this particular year with such hard losses I’m anticipating it will be fierce, and I can only imagine the odd angles and sentimental stretches and such as companies try desperately to find a way to spin or exploit quarantines and the emotional states and “shared trauma” in ways they think are subtle and tasteful enough to not stir outrage at the fact they are simply willing to monetize anything.

Or they could just be completely oblivious. I had to go to Target as I haven’t gone shopping in a month and a half or so. They had all the chips and dips and the regular summer gathering type things like grills and such in the usual displays. Where I live- we are still under partial quarantine and completely banned from gatherings and public venues and such are still closed. It was... perfectly normal which made it transcendently surreal.
