This is manipulated. The Sequoia isn't plastered in. None of those other trees would ever survive the shadow of the giant without being giants themselves and it snows maybe once every 25 years.
not to mention that tree is bent just to try and attempt to fit it in the frame. a real one is nearly impossible to encapsulate in a frame from ground level. It takes an incredible warp.
...much less than half of it, which is only what is shown in the pic. You're talking about, with the idea of a trunk that size, a 250 ft tall tree. Go take a go-pro, attatch it to a go-pro and then go see exactly how high you have to get over a football field just to get from the end of one endzone to the 40 yard line on the other side and then look at how tiny everyone really is.
I was wrong. This is General Sherman, but the photo IS warped. This is still a beautiful picture, no doubt, not trying to take away from that. I'll post a better size comparison rather than the OG photo that was warped.
