They do. I had a school friend who was under 5’ even after he was fully grown. He was quite the character. Certainly larger than his size would indicate- I’ll save the stories as they are a bit involved, often unpleasant, and many find them hard to believe even though they are 100% true.

Lol. Maybe the anti Owen, as I cannot see Owen Meany having violated probation twice before leaving primary school, or upon being faced by a wannabe tough guy with a gun threatening to shoot him- telling the guy he didn’t have the guts, then taking the guy’s hand, shooting himself in the abdomen, then beating the guy into a coma before being arrested again. Among other events. Although he did also have a semi unconventional birth. Not immaculate conception- but a premature crack baby that doctors didn’t think would live. Asides his small stature this also Gabe him one eye which was almost entirely white.
