San Francisco's Golden Gate Park is 20% bigger than Central Park

SF has a ton of parks. Before the homeless crisis it was dope AF; random festivals, street dancers, people literally handing out weed...

Having spent time in both- meh. Both have lots of cool places to make memories or take brochure photos. The weather is generally better in golden gate park at any time of year, and the contrast of park to sky scraper is neat, but a different aesthetic than trees and open sky and old architecture. I can’t say either Park is more impressive or better- but they each are good parks in their own right.
