Trump said weeks ago that he would sign a pure stimulus legislation. Congress is battling over how much garbage they can include in the bill (making it not pure).

@princessmonstertru Trump says a lot of things, but the fact is he also wants to keep airlines afloat (I'm not saying they don't need help, they do), but why do you think HE wants that? He has to park his planes while he goes around for his rallies. If airlines start going out of business and hubs shrink, it directly impacts him. That's why he would also prefer a separate bill, so he can get what he wants and then attempt to save face and put the stimulus delay on Congress. If you haven't figured it out, in a way, Trump is a genius... the problem is he's a self-serving egotistic narcissist who doesn't give a flying fuck about facts; it's all about image.

Oh, yeah, Trump just takes it to the extreme; they all have that problem to some degree.
