Douglas was a writer for comedy in print, radio and television, writing for HUGE names of the day and penning books on the side. This is not a comedy book though, even if it is full of his humor. This book is more of a memoir- it tells the story of a time in his life during Douglass’s third and final marriage, to a Japanese woman, and his attempts to raise wolves in their suburban CT neighborhood (and subsequent failure and their move to an island in Canada.) Douglas wrote several books about his life, but his “pure” comedy titles include: “Never Trust A Naked Bus Driver.”

Out of a thousand tries, I would never have guessed this book actually talked about what its title says.

Yeah, you’d think it’s just some sort of nonsense title- but no. It’s the actual synopsis!
