Hopefully he got all the right paperwork and permits and shit for running a food cart. Its fairly uncommon for a place to not require that. With all the effort he's gone to getting to the point he can sell hotdogs i don't doubt that he has tho. Seems like an enterprising lad.
also now i want hot dogs lol.
The thought crossed my mind. Like- when he “makes $X00 a day...” is that net or gross? Every day? On an “average day”? How many hours is he spending on this a day- counting “off” work like cleaning and transport and getting supplies and such? I wish him well and am glad if he is doing well- I’m just wondering about the specifics because well.... it’s not common for even a small private business to start turning any profit so early. Usually there are thousands of dollars of legal hoops and thousands more in start up costs- and well... street vending tends to be seasonal in much of the US... hope he is doing well.
Yea, on the seasonal thing, that doesn’t look like an place that’s always war, looks like either a small town in the south or near a park in a big city. The kinda trees indicate to me that it’s somewhere that gets cold
The permits and pay offs are what i was thinking about. I know in Albany, NY you gotta know people and pay a very large price, just like getting a liquor license. Im all for starting your own business, but sometimes, most times, its just not that easy. I wish it was.
