Guilty Compliments

Yes. Any time people are even remotely nice to me, I either think they're lying, or that they don't know what they're saying because they don't know enough about me, or I get impostor syndrome.

Oooooh so that's what it is! Whenever I get a compliment my brain screams "Noooo I'm a piece of shit!"

My brain used to be a lot like "don't you see how bullshit I am? Are you stupid enough to not see that?". Thankfully I'm growing out of it but when I get compliments on some work that has flaws I find very obvious I revert back to that.
