my work no longer sends orders to New Zealand, we allow pick up from couriers to dispatch, but organised by the customer. The reason being is we've had complaints, NZ customs are strict, they will charge tax on orders, and we get asked why they "have to pay tax again when they paid tax when they paid", and it can be expensive. And yes, they ordered again the next year and asked "what you mean you don't send to NZ anymore, you sent it last year", my reply "yes we did, and you complained that you had to pay the import taxes, that's why we no longer offer shipping there"

Yeah, getting anything to NZ is insane, shipping costs often double the price of whatever it is you want to buy

we don't have states, but we do have districts. Hamilton is in Waikato
