Except, by the rules of the Order, Anakin had not earned the right to carry the rank of Master. You need to see a Padawan through to the rank of Knight to earn the rank of Master. Asohka left the Order before reaching that level, so Anakin was, by definition, *not* a Jedi Master.

No, definitely not. The Order definitely made plenty of mistakes. Then again, so did Anakin.
