This moto-craziness actually happened to my friend once. We were out on a ride and he has just washed his bike. (Sidenote: I later bought the bike from him and restored it, and posted a pic of the results on my funsub profile.)

We were in a parking lot. His wife was riding on the back. Because there was water between the rubber and metal of the throttle, it stuck hard open and the bike exploded into motion. They popped the most giagantic wheelie and were instantly going at literal breakneck speeds. His wife was hanging on to him for dear life, but she was pulling his hand back so he couldn't chop the throttle closed. It took them several heart-pounding seconds to figure it out, which allowed the bike to pass 100kmph. He finally figured it out and stopped.

Since then, Kate still has not gotten back on a bike. It's been 16 years lol
