Ok but consider this: masala chai.
I make it at home, it's absolutely delicious.

I learned a syrian version of spiced tea: black tea as normal, for one cup add a bit cinnamon (the thick kind, about the size of a pinkie nail, two cloves and just a few dried persian rose petals, not too many though, sugar to taste. Brilliant with every black tea I tried sofar, Darjeeling, Assam (add milk!), darker fermented Oolong works fine, Keemun, and even some herbal infusions, like sweet balm. If you let it infuse for more than 3 minutes, use less spices or remove them after max 4 minutes.
@darkness_within wow that sounds so amazing. My local Middle Eastern grocery store doesn't stock dried rose petals though. Would maybe rose water be a good substitute? Or should I just go get them at a flower shop lol

*lol* you may try, but they don't look soo fancy. Allegedly it's not so hard to grow them in a central European garden though, there's a variety of heritage roses called "Rose de Resht" that should work, and as heritage strains are quite popular, you may try to grow them on your own. In Germany you can buy Chinese rose petals in a few spice hops which should be pretty much the same, just grown in china. The pics I've seen are quite similar, though it seems the Persian ones I got had been harvested more carefully, the Chiinese look a wee shredded in comparison. I'm not sure if rose water will do, It's often made with artificial rose scent so you should check this first. It's probably better than nothing though. I wouldn't know about the dosage though. I use about 5-6 of those tiny petal each cup, but their aroma is very intense, so I have no idea really how to dose the rose water. It shouldn't be too obvious I guess ;-)
@darkness_within so I perused some other nearby shops and one sells dried indian rose petals. That should do! I'm gonna get them and try making the tea. I'm so excited ^^

Should be pretty much the same. Be careful dosing it, it's not expected to be a "rose petal tea"
