From the United States, with respect; we are far from perfect, but i believe that to be an inaccurate description.

By definition the US is first world.

Having lived in the second world (in this case defined by standard of living, not alignment), I can safely say that our standard of living, economic equality, and opportunities for social mobility are much higher than in the second world, let alone third.
