As long as it's safe and prepared correctly.
Diversity makes the world interesting.
And pretty sure farm animals ain't ended with guns. Unless the Americans do things differently, y'all do love guns.
You ever work a farm? Or ranch?
You do what works.
And what makes you think half the meat in my house ever set foot in a farm?
We don't love guns. We love what they represent and enable.
My mother literally keeps like 20 chickens and the number is growing.
Do you happen to represent all the Americans?
I don't understand what a child holding a gun represent and what the parents trying to say showing everyone how they, full grown adults, give their kids; literally 12 years old something, a gun.
20 chickens ain't a farm.
I represent any who allow me to speak for them.
A child holding a gun is the same as anyone holding a gun.
Liberty, autonomy, self-sufficiency, discipline, defense, duty, responsibility.
It is normal. It is legal.
How else would anyone know how to safely handle and operate a firearm if they weren't taught? Nevermind defense, hunting, and sport.
The kids shooting up schools aren't the kids who were taught to value life, respect safety, and guard liberty.
They aren't hunters, they don't dream of being soldiers or lawmen, and the vast majority of them don't even come from whole homes.
I have to back up @famousone here. If there are guns in the household, a child needs to be taught how to safely use and handle the gun. If they aren’t, they do things like accidentally shoot themselves/friends/family or go shoot up a school.
Those aren’t children that were taught how to use and respect dangerous life ending weapons. They aren’t children who have lived on a working farm (where the livestock is slaughtered for food) or hunted animals for food. Using a powerful weapon or tool to end a life changes the way you think about those things.
Teaching children how to safely handle firearms is what leads to school shootings confirmed.
`
This is why every child that's held a firearm has shot up at least 12 other children.
`
This is also why in Canada we don't let children handle knives or scissors WITH SUPERVISION until they are at least 18.

Thank goodness we have someone here to dumbdown and misrepresent the issue for the benefits of all the Midwits passing by.
`
And you only had to stand on the corpses of every child killed in a school shooting to make your (highly incorrect) point! Well done!
The people flashing guns like this with their children are a huge part of the problems.
You should never normalised owning lethal weapons.
And underage children holding one? Promoting them on social media too?
That's just screwed up.
They are not "flashing" anything.
Owning effective arms in fact should be normalized.
The children are not underage.
Nothing about this is screwed up. What's screwed up is that any free or liberty-loving person would object to any of this.
Rosalinas your exact response to Hyperion posting a picture of himself posing with a gun:
"Aww baby! You were so young! Like a baby!"
`
No mention of what an evil demon he was, corrupting America's youth by "flashing guns" and "normalizing lethal weapons."
`
No mention of how he could singlehandedly be the cause of a mass-shooting by his mere existence.
`
Not everyone in the server is an adult, you know. On top of which, you find his OWN apparent youth in this example ENDEARING it seems.
`
So, now that we've established that... are you REALLY going to continue to commit to being this level of hypocritical ridiculousness?
`
Most likely you will, and not only that, but you'll get offended that I brought up this example in the first place. Because you are fine ripping apart other peoples' behavior, but fuck all forbid anyone turn your own lens back your way
There really are no hard feelings from me. If anyone finds themselves in the PNW and isn't a felon, just give me a couple week's heads up and we can make a day of basic safety instruction and some target practice. I want to share my likes, and I'll gladly engage with anyone who is earnest.
There's literally nothing wrong with teaching a child proper gun safety - and teaching them to respect the weapons for what they are.
`
It becomes an issue if you let the child have free access without supervision, or don't take proper precautions to secure the guns between times.
`
It becomes a bigger issue when we pretend shootings have more to do with parents teaching their kids about guns, rather than the fact that they are far more likely to be linked to mental illness or other outside factors
A hunting shot is different from these types of photos and you know that well enough, you just choose to ignore it in attempt to prove whatever you're having in your head.
Teaching gun safety and flashing it?
I was taught gun Safety by professionals back in highschool at school. That's how it should be done.
Letting a child holding a lethal weapon so you can take pictures to post on social media for whatever reason? Yea, sound about right and American.
Prom? Gun!
Wedding? Gun!
Family gathering? Gun!
They even give children guns too! Heck!
We have a very rich, diverse cuisine
