Top left and right are always fun because it leads you to never talk to people first because surely you're an inconvenience and they're just talking to you out of obligation, while in reality, who has the time to talk with people they dislike?
But the actual good part is that when you get out of it you can be struck by happiness because there are people who voluntarily talk to you and that's :D
"Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria". First time I've heard it given such a fancy name. I will just note that the general approach to this type of dysphoria is to help people realize that their perception of themselves is not aligned with reality and to encourage them to discard that un-aligned perception in favor of reality.
Why do we not take the same approach with other types of dysphoria?
Dysphoria (from Greek: δύσφορος (dysphoros), δυσ-, difficult and φέρειν, to bear) is a profound state of unease or dissatisfaction. It is the opposite of euphoria.
The word simply means that the person is uneasy or dissatisfied about something. The underlying causes can be very different and require very different treatments.
