That's how steam games work tho... once the game is done, and finalized, and put on the platform, and downloaded, any removal of files from that directory will cause the game to no longer work.

but it was one of the developers, before it was put onto steam. So the game was made with the coconut and won't work without the nut, coco.

thats not how steam games work wtf are you talking about. Editing, removing, or adding files to a game on steam doesn't "cause the game to no longer work" unless the file being edited, removed, or added, would do so already outside of steam.

during development, as in one of the developers noticed the coconut files, was not needed for the game, deleted it, game no longer worked.

I wasnt talking about the specifics of the post, i was talking about captainjack here's extreme misunderstanding of how steam games in general work
