Celebrating Canada Day this year would be celebrating genocide considering the number of murdered children that were rediscovered at residential schools.
Literally incorrect, but if you Are genuinely incapable of celebrating the country you live in without simultaneously rejoicing in dead children, I absolutely agree you should sit the festivities out.
Canada Day is about celebrating the culture, society, victories, successes, etc of this country. If you're so infantile in your thinking that you can't celebrate good things and mourn the bad then stay home and don't ruin my night @laughwendylaugh. I will be celebrating for the creation of a country I love. Nobody can make me do any different.
No facts, no reason, no logic, so you resort to insults. Find a book. Read it then read it again. Next time you want to come after me expand your mind beyond emotions and we'll have a chat.
Lmao did you really just resort to name calling because people disagreed with you on the internet?
.
Also, once again: way to devalue a term that has extremely serious connotations by literally throwing it around like confetti. I'm sure all the native children feel much more better over your weird displays of absurdity on the internet
.
If you care so damn much, you know you could go and actually do something of value to help literally any one of the people you think we're victimizing with our evil weevil bbqs. Instead here you sit. Helping no one, but demanding everyone be as miserable and bitter as you
.
Well done
adam44, xvarnah, how many lands have you colonized? How many natives have you wiped out?
And how about you dontlaughwendy? How much conquering and killing have you taken part in?
If I was capable of single-handed colonization, I would have started with Canada, and ousted the upstart poodle we're forced to call Prime Minister years ago
like Australia Day, some refer it to "Invasion Day". I think if you want to celebrate it and have the day off, go ahead, if you don't want to, go to work. Unfortunately, a majority that want to change it are unemployed and have nothing better to do.
Canada day has nothing to do with celebrating genocide, but people won't be happy until this country is a heap of inhospitable ashes, with everyone either dead, gone, or as miserable as they are
It's a celebration. Shut up and get drunk, damn it.
If someone has a personel problem, everyone must suffer for it.
